Greenice Partner Wins 2011 Eureka Science Award for Innovative Solutions to Climate Change

 Greenice uses innovative economic analysis tools to help its clients measure their carbon, water. energy and ecological footprints. These tools have been developed by the Integrated Sustainability Research team (ISA) at The University of Sydney. ISA's pioneering work into carbon footprint analysis has won the ISA team the 2011 Eureka Prize for Innovative Solutions to Climate Change.The prize is part of the Australian Museum Eureka Prizes, the most prestigious awards in Australian science. Greenice has been parnering with ISA for the last three years and assisted numerous companies to measure their environmental impacts using the ISA tool.

Greenice Appointed Module Deliverer for the NSW Sustainability Advantage Program

Greenice has been appointed as a facilitator to deliver the Carbon Management Module under the NSW Government's Sustainability Advantage Program. The Carbon Management Module helps medium to large organisations measure and reduce their carbon emissions. It is one of seven Sustainability Advantage modules designed to enhance business performamance by improving efficiency and environmentally sustainability.

Greenice Advises the Victorian Smart Water Fund on New Governance Structure

The Victorian Smart Water Fund invests in inovative research and on-the-ground projects to provide new insights to urban water use and management. The Fund is a joint inititiative of Melbourne's water business and the Victorian Government. Greenice provided advice to the Fund on a new governance structure and research management arrangements . This marks a new step in the evolution of the Smart Water Fund that will ensure that research investments deliver sustainable water solutions for the benefit of the water industry and the wider community. Greenice Assists Bevex Pty Ltd to Set Up Bulk Explosive Manufacture in the Northern Territory

Bevex is a niche explosives manufacturer of bulk water gel explosives for the quarry and mining industry. Greenice assisted Bevex to obtain an explosives manufacturing licence and comply with Major Hazard Facility (MHF) regulations for its operation at Marrakai outside Darwin, NT. Greenice also asisted Bevex to develop safety systems and operating procedures for the plant.
